Chloe and Liam Together Forever Day

Published: 2nd May 2019

As most of you may be aware two very special people, Chloe and Liam, were killed in the 2017 Manchester Terrorist Attack. Liam was registered with our project as a Young Carer for his dad who sadly passed away just a few short months before the attack. As a project we want to support the Chloe and Liam Together Forever Charity set up in their honour by their families and so we ask for your help.

On May 22nd South Tyneside will turn pink and Blue in honour of these two beautiful angels. The Young Carers Project will be supporting the Together Forever charity by participating in this event. We ask that all Young Carers who attend our project wear pink or blue at our after school group and if possible, make a small suggested donation of £1.00 to the charity. For this week the Tuesday group (Age 5 – End of Year2) and the Wednesday Group (Year 3 – Year 6) will be combined with all Young Carers attending ‘treat’ after school group on Wednesday 22nd May.

The aim of Pink and Blue day is to raise awareness of the charity but also to raise vital funds to help support young people to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. . We would love to raise as much money as possible for this charity and so invite all parents/families and Young Carers to join us for a Together Forever Bake Sale whilst the Young Carers enjoy a special treat at their after school group. Chloe and Liam Together Forever wristbands will also be available to purchase at our after school groups.

The Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust

On the 22nd May 2017 Chloe Rutherford 17 and Liam Curry 19, girlfriend and boyfriend, totally in love were murdered in the atrocity of the Manchester bombing at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.

We as families have set up this Trust to honour our kids through what they loved most and hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. We hope to be able to help others for such things as auditions, exams, coaching qualifications, travel expenses to name but a few and to reach our goal of paying a full time teacher to be able to supply the teaching of singing lessons and musical instruments training at subsided costing for all.
