Tutoring and Homework Club

We have great news for our young carers, we have secured funding to restart our tutoring and homework club!
This will give our young carers somewhere to go to complete any homework they have from school, whether they simply need a quiet place to concentrate or a bit more support from qualified staff.
Rachel, who is a qualified school teacher and former deputy head, will be running these classes at Marsden Road Health Centre every Monday (term time only), along with a member of the Young Carers Team. We have two time slots depending on the age of the young carer:
4.00pm- 5.30pm (for Primary School Children) and 5.30pm- 7.00pm (for Secondary School Children)
Spaces are limited to ensure children get the support they need, if you are interested in a place please let us know and spaces will be allocated accordingly.
