CANCELLED: Dancing Classes

*DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED IN DUE COURSE*

Many of our Young Carers have been asking for the opportunity to try dancing classes, and we are happy to announce we have secured a 6 week course for them all to try tap, ballet and stage dancing.

This will give them a chance to have fun, make new friends, learn new skills and build their confidence and self-esteem. They have the choice to attend ballet, tap and stage, or both! All ages and abilities are welcome, don’t be afraid if they have never tried it before – there will be many other young carers giving dancing a try for the first time too.

By the end of the 6 weeks they could be giving strictly come dancing a run for their money! Don’t worry if you haven’t got a tutu or tap shoes, you don’t need them, just suitable, comfortable clothes and footwear, but if you have them, feel free to wear them.

Ballet: 4.00pm- 5.00pm / Tap and Stage: 5.00pm-6.00pm or try both!

This dance course is free for all registered South Tyneside Young Carers, who have completed a consent form and been allocated a space (we will inform you by text). The whole course is free of charge 🙂
